The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs has a Facebook page dedicated to providing information to active duty, reserve, and veterans interested in the Post 9/11 GI Bill. Become a fan and get updates on your own Facebook regarding the latest news concerning the new GI Bill and other forms of military financial aid!

Also, the VA has an official YouTube channel available.

Social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Myspace offer ways for prospective and current military students to connect to the resources they need in a social interface they are already inclined to use. The VA is not the only military-friendly source either. Military-friendly colleges like Saint Leo University have social media available that is beneficial to military students, like their Twitter and Facebook community.

  2. Jason–Unfortunately, it does not appear they are offering this in the form of Myspace. Sorry for the bad news!
